How to lose a guy in ten days

One of the best rom-coms ever!
How to lose a guy in ten days is a comedy starring by Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson. It is a love story, where a fashion journalist tries to lose a guy in ten days, as the name says, doing all the mistakes that the girls do in a relationship, just to write an article for her column and make her career go up. What she didn't expected was that the guy she choosed in a bar, also choosed her for a bet he made with his colleagues to win a great bussiness for the magazine where he works. His objective was to make a girl fall in love with him also in ten days, what a shame it would be if his girl's mission was the opposite to his.
The story is about their weird and non-real relationship, and how it ends up in a great, real and pure love.
I love so much this movie, I have seen it hundreds of times and I enjoy it every time.
It isn't the most intelligent and deep film, I know, but I mean, even when Matthew Mc Conaughey now is an academy favourite and Oscar winner, he is the king of the romantic comedies, and looks very handsome on this film.
Beside his cute face (and body), and Kate Hudsons brightness and her beautiful smile, the movie is so funny! And maybe we can identify with some of the situations the film proposes, although, we don't get a happy ending making all the mistakes Andy (Kate) does.

I would see this movie, a million times more, it is light, great and funny.

My Holy week

The Holy Week, that glorious days of march or april, when we celebrate Jesus resurrection. I mean thye catholics, other religions or cultures just rest this days, and enjoy the spring break. Is the moment when you can relax a bit of school or work, and take energy to continue and resist the rest of the year until summer.

Unfortunately, in my case, I didn't have the opportunity to rest, at least not the way I would liked to. A week before the vacations started, one of my acting teachers, asked their students (inclucing me) to send her our cv's if we wanted to participate in a new project. I sent it, and I got in!

But it was a lot of compromise, and we had to practice everyday in the morning, the first week, and in the morning and afternoon the second one, because the presentations started on thursday, so I've been so busy, memorizin my text, making it mine, working a lot with me, with my body, my voice, my projection, because, I was so nervous, is my first job, and my partners in the play are profesionals, people who actually went to college to study this.

Beside this, it was a bit hard for me to find time to see my boyfriend, so we've got some problems, and we almost split up. Fortunately, we talked on time, and saved our relationship.

On the Saint days, I saw my family, and we really got relaxed and enjoyed the time together. I also went to the seven houses visit, and to church.

I had a great time these days, with lots of experiences and new things for me, and new people, but I need a vacation of my holidays, eventhough this sounds contradictory.

Modern family again.

Another funny thursday. Now in the sitcom that we all love, the gay marriage is legalized, so Cameron and Mitchell wants to propose each other, but the try to plan the best proposal. As always everything gets like a mess, and Cameron asks Gloria for help, as well as Mitchell asks his sister Claire for help. At the end, Jay and Gloria enjoy the star-room originally made for Mitchell, and Claire and Phil enjoy the dinner in front of the fire, prpared for Cameron. The couple ends up in the middle of nowhere, with the car broken, but under the stars, the best moment for a romantic proposal.  Love, love, love.

Modern family.

You know is thursday if you watch Modern Family at english class. This entry is about the chapter when Cameron tries to make Lily love the clowns, and dressing as one, even though Mitchell doesn't support him on his passion. Thats the story I remember the most. The situatuion is that Lily hates the clowns, and annoys Cameron to make him realize the truth. Mitchell is enchanted with the situation, and at the end, the girl speaks her mind, and everybody is happy.

First of the year!

Thursday movies! Well today it wasn't a movie, we watched the first and second episodes of Modern Family. I love that sitcom, it's so funny, I couldn't stop laughing at their jokes, or any stupid thing the characters said.

The Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan is a wonderfully large and blended family with Jay Pritchett sitting at the head. By his side is his young, vivacious second wife Gloria, who resists his old-fashioned ways -- an impulse that will become all the more interesting now that he and Gloria have a new baby of their own. This exciting addition will bring more adventures to the family just as Gloria's son, Manny, is about to embark on an adventure of his own as he enters high school. Jay's grown daughter, Claire, and her husband, Phil, also have their son, Luke, heading to high school; their middle daughter, Alex, is full steam ahead on the college track, and the eldest, Haley, is back home figuring out her future. With the kids all growing up, this new chapter means Claire can explore returning to the workforce, which will have its fair share of missteps and victories. And this will be a big year for Claire's brother and Jay's grown son, Mitchell, who alongside his loving partner, Cameron, and daughter Lily, will have a lot of reasons to celebrate. Together these three families give us an honest and often hilarious look into the sometimes warm, sometimes twisted, embrace of the modern family.
A great comedy, original and fresh. And I have to say that I love Sofia Vergara, is one of my role models, she's gorgeous, funny, successful, and is engaged to Joe Manganiello, who said you can't have a perfect life?

A pep talk

Thats's a man, this little man of the video is so wise, and understands the life. Is concrete, simple and motivating. Is for teachers and students, but I think it applies to everybody, because everybody is a teacher sometimes in it's life. If you have the attitude you are teaching that to the people around you.
If a country , for a example, Mexico, takes this philosophy of being thirsty of knowledge and doing things in the right  way, it will grow a lot. Being lazy is an old thing, the trend is to be happy, worker, and successful.

Asking for food in New York

A guy ask strangers for food in different situations, some are rude, some are more rude and some are extremely rude, but at the end the indigent was the only one who gave him a slice of the pizza he was given before for two guys. This indigent was rewarded at the end because of his generosity.

It may sounds like a Bible lesson, I remember one that  when you help somebody, even the most insignificant person, is like if  you are helping The Lord.
Even though you are or are not catholic, this is a great life lesson, maybe you dont believe in God but if you help uninterestedly the life or karma, or destiny or whatever will pay it to you back.

As the video says, never look down to somebody and if you do it, just do it to take him up.
